Describe the influence of Behavior Change theories, Interpersonal Level theories, and Community Level theories on health education design and implementation
Theories and Strategies :
One of the methods Health Educators use to design, implement, and manage health education programs is theoretical frameworks. Theories and models such as the Theory of Planned Behavior, the Health Belief Model, and the Trans-theoretical Model, are all examples of well-known frameworks that have been used to guide health education programs for decades.
1. Describe the influence of Behavior Change theories, Interpersonal Level theories, and Community Level theories on health education design and implementation. How do we apply these theories to practice? What are the barriers to doing so? Which of these theories would be most useful to you as a Health Educator?
2. There are various strategies and techniques used in the field of health promotion and education. However, selecting the most appropriate strategy is key to the success of the program. Discuss how Health Educator uses various strategies (i.e., health communication, health education, health policy, etc.) to plan and implement health programs.
3. describe the components of creating a successful health intervention. What questions should you ask yourself? What should you take into consideration? How will you know what works and what does not?
