Articles & Discussion Preparation(3 article pdf files and one Word file addressing all of a-e below) – This section must include all of the individual pdfs of the complete 3 articles from the primary peer review literature. All articles must be “clean” and not have any annotations on them. I do recommend using annotations on your own copies of articles to help you understand the articles. In the Word file and in text form, indicate:
a) which article you would like to use to lead a discussion about silica and explain why you think your selected article is a good choice.
b) what you hope your colleagues will learn about silica
c) a paragraph specifically describing how you will direct the discussion about silica (be creative!) and on what sections of the article you will focus. The learning experience for your colleagues should address anticipation, recognition, evaluation and control. You must engage your colleagues in discussion, not lecture to them.
d) a list of directed questions you think will enhance learning during the discussion.
e) an annotated bibliography – a brief synopsis of each article and its relevance for your topic silica
Be sure to label your answers a-e in the Word file.
