This discussion is based on a case study of the client Alana. You will read her history and formulate continuing care with a CBT approach. For this week’s discussion, you will answer the questions below related to CBT and the case.

For your initial post, answer the following questions in APA format.

  1. What cognitive behavioral techniques might be appropriate to use with Alana as she explores her frustration and anger related to stressors? NU-646: Week 6 Discussion 1: CBT Case Study
  2. How would you use cognitive behavioral therapy techniques in a culturally/gender sensitive manner to address Alana feelings about being a woman as a minority in the US and trying to navigate healing while starting a new life with her husband and expected child?
  3. How might the principles from CBT be applied to the case study to help her overcome past traumas?
