Gap Analysis

This week, several analysis tools were presented including SWOT analysis, PEST analysis, and Porter’s Five Forces. Each of these models is helpful when developing a strategic plan and are all “broad strokes” models. However, these models often overlook critical factors that impact healthcare organizations.   • Review the PowerPoint presentation, Gap Analysis Example [PowerPoint].
  • Conduct research on Gap analysis.
    • Include at least one scholarly source to support ideas.
  • Create a Gap analysis example, using the PowerPoint presentation as a guide, of how Gap analysis could be used to improve healthcare services. This may be either a clinical, or administrative application.
  • Complete work in a PowerPoint presentation, as is shown in the example.
