Identify and discuss specific resources or federal agencies that you will utilize to remain informed and current in public health trends and practices.Public health entails collective actions to assure healthy conditions exist for people in the society through the utilization of a comprehensive public health framework and ten essential public health services (Nickitas et al., 2020). The framework consists of three core functions: assessment, policy development, and assurance.Health Department (USDHHS) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) are the leading public health agencies (Nickitas et al., 2020). They determine the essential public health services, provide data and resources on public health and current trends and initiatives. In addition, one can use databases to access information such as vital statistics for assessment purposes. Besides, the Institute of Medicine’s Healthy People 2030 initiatives can be used to get an insight into current trends, areas of focus, and priorities.ReferencesNickitas, D. M., Middaugh, D.
